Adding New Client Enquiry

Details of new enquiries may be recorded in short form (for those enquiries which do not proceed beyond the call stage) and in long form (for those enquiries which may potentially become matters).

As part of the recording of New Client Enquiry details, the user will have the option of completing the enquiry process (short form) or proceeding further. In the latter case, (provided mandatory conditions have been satisfied), the system will invoke Workflow processing (based on the initial event as specified by an “Enquiry Type” parameter).

 

Step-by-step guide

Add a new Client Enquiry

  1. Add a New Client Enquiry: Main Menu > New Client Enquiries > Add New Client Enquiry Details.
  2. If not proceeding with the Enquiry untick the “Proceed with Enquiry” box.
  3. If the Enquirer is the Injured party tick the “Is the Enquirer injured party?”
  4. Add a new entity or select an existing entity
  5. If a New Entity enter related entities or attributes but DO NOT add a matter to the new entity at this time.
