If a user is trying to float in a document and they get the error ‘No Word Document’, there are three things that can be checked in the first instance.

Can’t find the floating file note box?

Solution 2

• If you can’t find your floating file note box, it might be hiding behind other screens. To find it, hold down the ‘Alt’ key and press tab until the box is selected.

  Let go of both keys when the file note box is selected and it will become the front screen.
