Finalising a Document

In LawMaster, finalise a document to prevent another user from amending it.

 

Step-by-Step Guide

To finalise a document:

  1. From any screen, search for the folio using Enquiries > Folios > Search for the folio.
  2. Select Finalise from the context menu. If the Prompt for digital signature? is enabled, then LawMaster will ask if you want to sign the attachment. You can then select the location of your scanned signature from your system (if setting for the first time) or the system fetches from the location you selected the first time you attached a digital signature

Finalising a folio attachment updates the audit report viewed from the context menu on the folio > View Audit Trail > Attachment. You will see a new entry with a Field Nam
