Reverse a trust receipt

Problem

I need to reverse a trust receipt because I have incorrectly receipted to the wrong matter or it was receipted to the wrong bank. However I am receiving the message - **Selected receipt can't be reversed...**

Solution

Where you have entered a trust receipt incorrectly and you need to reverse it, and receive this message, you need to check that the funds are cleared. To check this go to the Matter > Matter Menu > Trust > Funds. You will see the funds entered today are set as Uncleared. Select these funds > right click and clear.

You will then be able to reverse the incorrectly entered trust receipt and re-enter.
