Problem

On some PCs or in some offices/locations templates are merging slowly when merged from LawMaster 

Solution

There are 2 main reasons for slowness when merging a template: 

1. The file is slow in downloading from the DMS.
   Things that could cause this: 
   1. Slow internet 
   2. Faulty router 
   3. Faulty switch 
   4. Faulty network cable 
   5. Faulty network adapter 
2. The file is slow opening in Word.
   Things that could this: 
   1. Outstanding Windows updates need applying 
   2. Outstanding Office updates need applying 
   3. PC running on low resources 
   4. Faulty Hard Drive 
   5. Malware 
   6. Slow Word plugins 
   7. Interference by antivirus / security suite 

If LawMaster is hanging when generating a template then the latest Word/Office update could be the issue, in that a security concern message is appearing hidden behind other windows.
