PAYG Withholding Tax Tables Effective 1 July 2026

The tax cuts made by the Treasury Laws Amendment (More Cost of Living Relief) Act 2025 will apply to the 2026–27 income year resulting in updates from 1 July 2026.

The PAYGW Tax Tables for the 2026-2027 financial year have been updated to reflect changes to income tax rates for individuals and changes to the Medicare levy low-income thresholds.

The repayment income thresholds for study and training support loans have also been updated as a result of annual indexation.

The updated ATO Tax Scales for the 2026-2027 Financial Year effective 01/07/2026 are available as a zip file from the Client Service Centre under Other Downloads

Download and save the zip file to a convenient location. Open the zip file and extract the following file:

  • ATO_TaxScales_2026-2027.txt
