Integrated Search Providers

When searching for basic information about Search Providers. 

Search Provider Guide: 

Integrated Search Providers are a searching service that has been integrated with the LawMaster software to create searches from LawMaster Matters. 

Their are three different Search Providers that have been integrated with LawMaster, if you are set up for multiple Search Providers you will have the option to search with either provider. 

1. GlobalX
2. InfoTrack 
3. Dye & Durham (Formally SAI Global) 

All search providers have a SPR Parameter in LawMaster that is used to define the Search Provider settings and options. It is accessed from Parameters > Searches > Search Providers. The following fields need to be defined for each Search Provider:

1. Provider – select the Search Provider from the drop down list. 
2. Active – checkbox to indicate whether Search Provider is active. Search Provider parameters will be marked as inactive until the user is provided with account details from the Search Provider. 
3. Search Provider Description. 
4. Disbursement Type: a. 
   1. Non-cash
   2. Cash
   3. Anticipated Disbursement
      Note: Reversals or refunds will be handled as a negative cost transaction for non-cash disbursements, negative anticipated disbursement transactions and credit notes for payment vouchers. 
5. Supplier – Entity used as the supplier on Payment Vouchers created. 
6. Disbursement Code – as defined in the DC parameter, the code against which cost transactions for searches that are GST applicable will be recorded. 
7. Disb Code GST Exempt – Disbursement Code against which cost transactions for searches that are GST exempt will be recorded. 
8. Bank – for Payment Vouchers – see BK parameter. 
9. Payment Method – for Payment Vouchers – see PYC parameter. 
10. Document Template – Search results saved as a Folio will be allocated to this Document Template as defined in Main Menu – Workflow Development – Document Templates. 
11. Referral Reason – Search results will be referred to the user who ran the search once it has been saved as a folio record – as defined in the File Referral Reason (RR parameter) 
12. User Name and Password – Specific to each client as allocated by your Search Provider (e.g. InfoTrack, GlobalX or SAI Global), this will be added by LawMaster at the time of setup. 

Specific additional configuration settings apply, depending on the search provider (InfoTrack, GlobalX or SAI Global). These will be added by LawMaster at the time of setup. Contact LawMaster for further information. 

Below are some examples of Search Providers SPR Parameters that have been set up, as you can see their are different fields for each Provider as they will require different things. 

As you can see in the below screenshots the InfoTrack Parameter has been fully set-up while the GlobalX and SAI Global Parameters have not.
