User Count versus License Count

Active users in LawMaster go towards the number of licensed users but they are not always the same thing.

The user count is ascertained by the number of Active users setup in LawMaster:

Menubar > Security > Maintain User Security
The Active users are those that don't have a date terminated date and/or don't have the No login option ticked

The Licence Count is governed by your Licence Agreement and the current count can be ascertained by:

Menubar > Security > Show Licensed Counts

IMPORTANT: Increasing or decreasing your user count doesn't automatically increase or decrease your License count. Increases and Decreases to license counts must be done by contacting LawMaster and the number of licences that can be added or reduced is usually governed by your existing Licence Agreement.

NOTE: The PROADM user doesn't count towards your licence count as it is used by LawMaster staff to administer the database and should never be deleted.
