Problem


When a user tries to send an email from iBench Application or forward a folio, they are shown an exception/error which says the operation didn’t complete. 


Solution


For email functionality to work from iBench setup, the SMTP details should be applied to iBench configuration and is done by LawMaster Technicians. Please contact us with below details which are required during setup: 


  • MailServer URL: 
  • MailServer Port: 
  • MailSSL Required: 
  • Email username (If Required): 
  • Mail UserNamePassword (If Required):


If your email server uses Office 365 for SMTP which demands an authenticated user, the username and password must be supplied to us mandatorily. 


If you are using an exchange server, then please liaise with your IT provider to allow SMTP access from the Database Server. This is usually done by adding the IP address into the settings.
