Problem

Microsoft Outlook Antivirus Warning is popping up.

Message: A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up-to-date.

This issue is caused by Outlook when it believes the Anti-virus on the machine is out of date it is running on and a third party application like LawMaster tries to access Outlook.

Solution

  1. Update your Anti-virus so Outlook no longer prompts this message
  2. Bypass the Outlook warning (not recommended)
    1. Right Click Outlook icon (from your start tray) and run as Administrator (Subject to your security rights)
    2. Go to File > Options > Trust Center Settings...
    3. Select Programmatic Access
    4. Check “Never warn me about suspicious activity (not recommended)”
    5. Click OK
