Which Matter Fields can be made Compulsory / Mandatory?
When you add a Matter in LawMaster, a number of fields are compulsory / mandatory.
When a user creates a Matter, they will be required to complete the compulsory fields before being able to save.
The default mandatory fields are: Client ID, Work Type, Description, Work Unit, Lawyer, Bill Format, Scale, Charge Type.
In addition to the fields that are set as compulsory by the sytem, there are a number of fields that can be set as compulsory by your system administrator.
These customisable Compulsory Matter Fields are found in the Parameters > Set Parameters > Matter and Client > Processing Options [U_MO].
