Solution
This error is being returned from Outlook via LawMaster and usually relates to Outlook tasks synchronisation. Synchronisation occurs periodically and it updates items from LawMaster Bring-Ups to Outlook tasks and vice versa. The message will appear when LawMaster simultaneously opens Outlook task items past a system-defined limit (Somewhere around 225 to 250).
If the user in question has a large number of Bring ups then actioning and cleaning them up might resolve the issue. To action a Bring up in LawMaster right click on the Bring up in question and select Action Item:
If this does not resolve the issue then:
- and the user doesn't want tasks synced between Outlook and LawMaster as they don't use that functionality then turning the feature off for the user would be best:
- Go to Security > Maintain User Security > "User" > Modify User > Outlook Task Synchronisation: Change this to Disable
- Click OK and then
- Close and reopen LawMaster and Outlook on the users machine
- and the user does want the syncing functionality:
- Increase the time between synchronisation of Bring Ups and tasks for all users to 5 mins or higher:
- Go to Parameters > Set Parameters > Miscellaneous > Outlook Integration
- Click OK
- Close and reopen LawMaster and Outlook on the users machine
- and there are large number of Bringups for the user and the system is unable to synchronise this many at one time based on what is available under Outllook settings - MaxObjsPerMapiSession.
So we recommend to increase the session limits for the user and see if the error is still an issue. Here is a link to blog from Microsoft that will guide you on how this value can be increased https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/office/exchange-server-2010/ff477612(v=exchg.141)?redirectedfrom=MSDN
