Upgrade web applications including DMS

This topic describes how to upgrade your web applications including the DMS. 


Upgrade LawMaster Web Application: 


Upgrade LawMaster web administration using the default website: 


If you use the default website, on all LawMaster web administration servers: 

  • Run the set-up from start >all programs >LawMaster >LawMaster web admin auto setup


Upgrade LawMaster web administration NOT using the default website: 


If you do not use the default website, on all LawMaster web administration servers: 

  • Run the set-up from start >all programs >LawMaster >LawMaster web admin command prompt. 
  • Enter C:\program files (x86\LawMaster\WebAdmin >lmwebadminsetup.exe -auto -site "SBS web applications" (where "SBS web applications" is the name of the website). 


Successful Install:


If you see the following message, the new version is upgraded successfully. (The 'xxx' in the image below represents the latest build number.) Press any key to close the window


 

Unsuccessful install:


If you see the following error, press any key to close the window and run the set-up again. If the error persists, please contact LawMaster Support.



Upgrade Web Applications:


To add or modify any web applications:

  1.  Run your web browser in administrator mode (not required on Windows 2012 servers): http://localhost/lawmasterwebadmin 
  2. If prompted, enter a Windows administrator username and password. If you have a problem verifying your username and password, please contact LawMaster Support. 
  3. In the DMS application row, click the up arrow.


In the version field, select the latest version (if it is not already selected) and click OK.The 'xxx' in the image below represents the latest build number.
