Unable to obtain query record. End of day process already commenced - run aborted

Problem 

When trying to enter time or add a folio the following error appears: 

This issue occurs because the End of Day procedure has failed. 

Some possible reasons for this are: 

1. Issue with the server (ran out of memory etc) 
2. A file uploaded as part of the End of Day process is corrupted in some way (for example the csv file from Papercut is not in the correct format)

Solution 

To clear the End of Day Processing flag so that users can enter time etc again: 

• Go to Periodic Processing > Clear Periodic Processing Flag
