Step-by-step guide
- Save any images and get them uploaded to an https web site eg: (Either with LawMaster or your IT Provider) For example: https://dmshost.lawmaster.com.au/SourceDocs/99999/Example.png
- If you are using Canada or newer version make sure that Email Signatures are enabled:
- Go to Parameters > Set Parameters > Miscellaneous > Maintain type '00' parameters directly
- Select the SIGN parameter
- Right click SIGN and select Modify
- Change the Flag field to: Y
- Click OK
- Go to Parameters > Set Parameters > WP, Mail, Help & Printing > Email Signature - Firm
- Change Default Message Font: and Size
- Ctrl+A > Change font
- Copy and Paste Signature in body
- To Insert images:
- Select the Insert tab
- Click Web Image
- Enter the full URL address of the image
- To insert fields eg) email address, name, phone number etc:
- Go to Insert Tab
- Click Variable
- In Template: type ZZZZ
- In Data Group: select User
- Double click to insert the selected variable
- Repeat for each variable you want to include
- Ensure the formatting of the signature is correct
- Go to View tab > Click HTML
- If any images have been inserted via hyperlink, find src link in HTML code and remove the quotation marks from the width and height values For example this:
- Click OK
NOTE: After step 10. do not click Editor otherwise you will need to repeat step 10.

How to set Email's default Message Font: NOTE: Previously the MS default was Calibri but in the newer channels this has now changed to Aptos. Therefore if nothing is defined in this field it will revert to the MS default. |
